What the information on this website is, what it is not, and what to do in an emergency.
In an emergency: call 120 in China or your local emergency number. Our website, email and messaging channels are not monitored for emergencies.
All information published on www.primamedchina.com — including descriptions of examinations, imaging studies, surgical procedures, prices and recovery times — is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation of any particular treatment for any particular person.
Always seek the advice of a qualified physician with any question about a medical condition or a medical procedure, and never delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read here.
Browsing this Site, sending us a form, chatting with us, or receiving a written quotation does not create a doctor–patient relationship with Prima Med China or with any physician mentioned on the Site. Clinical care only begins when a licensed physician at the treating hospital examines you (or reviews your records in a formal consultation) and accepts you as a patient.
This Site and our email, chat and messaging channels are not suitable for emergencies and are not monitored continuously. If you are in China, call 120 for an ambulance or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. If you are outside China, contact your local emergency number. Do not wait for a reply from us.
Prices shown anywhere on this Site are indicative ranges based on published price lists at Beijing Grade IIIA hospitals at the time of publication. They exclude items we cannot price in advance (prolonged admission, additional devices, further procedures discovered during treatment, intensive care, complications) and they can change without notice when a hospital revises its list or when a device is repriced through national procurement. Only a written quotation issued for your specific case is binding.
Names of hospitals and specialties are published so that you know where our coordination work takes place. Descriptions of a hospital's equipment, accreditation or services reflect publicly available information and our own experience; they are not statements made by the hospital, and no hospital endorses this Site.
Medicine is not a guarantee business. We publish statistics about typical waiting times, price levels and length of stay, but we never promise a clinical outcome: not a cure, not a pain-free recovery, not a specific cosmetic result, and not the absence of complications. Any statement you encounter elsewhere that promises such an outcome should be treated with caution, wherever it comes from.
Patient stories on this Site are drawn from real coordination journeys, but they are not clinical evidence. Names and identifying details are changed, quotes are edited for length and clarity, and outcomes described are those of one individual — they are not typical, guaranteed or predictive of what you will experience.
Photographs and illustrations are used to convey the general setting of care. No photograph on this Site should be understood as depicting a named patient, a named member of our team, or a specific outcome, unless it is expressly labelled as such.
Clinical documents are issued by Chinese hospitals in Chinese. Our translations and interpreting are prepared by bilingual staff with medical experience and are provided to help you understand your care — but for legal, insurance or regulatory purposes the Chinese original is the authoritative document. If you need a certified translation for a court, insurer or medical regulator in your own country, tell us before your visit ends and we will arrange it.
Please do not send urgent clinical information through our website chat, contact forms or messaging accounts, and do not use them to request prescriptions or medication changes. Those channels are for logistics, appointments, quotations and general questions. Anything clinical should be discussed with your treating physician, with an interpreter present where needed.
